Supporting young people in
North East Essex since 1988

We are an award-winning charity established to provide parenting and housing support services and counselling to young people across North East Essex.

We provide guidance and support on various needs including advice on benefits, housing and homelessness, pregnancy support services, dealing with anxiety, school absence, wellbeing and much more.

We reach over 8,000 young people each year by working closely with individuals, families, local schools and wider support networks. We couldn’t do it without your generosity so please enable us to help even more young people.

Pregnancy and Parenting

Our Pregnancy and Parenting Programme works alongside the Daisy Team, covering ages 16 – 25 in the Colchester and Tendring area and 19 – 25 in Suffolk. We support young parents with pregnancy health and wellbeing, as well as housing and benefits advice.

Housing and Homelessness

YES is here for all young people aged 11-25 that may be facing the threat of homelessness in the Colchester and Tendring area. We provide crucial advice on benefits and housing support, as well as food vouchers and signposting.

Counselling and Wellbeing

YES Counselling provides a space to speak with a trained professional about your concerns and issues, empowering you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. YES Counselling is confidential and non-judgmental.
